Ich bin meditationserfahren, aber Meditation allein half nicht auf Dauer, erst in Kombination mit Baclofen.
Mal sehen, was die Gruppe bringt. Ich glaube, der Austausch unter Gleichbetroffenen hilft viel, so wie hier im Forum.

ich hab mir den Folder nun angesehen, der war mir vorher untergegangen.Die Richtung gefällt mir gut. Mit Sanftheit und Achtsamkeit statt fordernd und wertend.
Ich wünsche Dir eine gelingende Zeit in dem Kurs.
Ich selbst muss noch einmal gründlich nachdenken, weswegen ich mich so sperre, das Trinken gegen Meditation einzutauschen. Ich schätze, es hat mit meiner Grundwut zu tun. Je mehr ich mich kennenlerne, umso widerspenstiger werde ich. Das sollte ja eigentlich genau umgekehrt sein. Wissen kann zum Feind werden.
Danke für die Anregung, mich wird das noch beschäftigen, und ich würde mich freuen, wenn Du Lust hast, hier zu schreiben, wie das für Dich letztendlich ausgegangen ist, ob es half.

Betreffend MBRP (= Rückfallvorbeugung) schau mal meinen Beitrag vom 21.8.14 an. Du kannst Dir den entsprechenden Folder herunterladen.
Im Netz habe ich gesehen, dass solche Kurse auch in Deutschland angeboten werden.
Wenn Du nach deutschen Seiten googelst, kriegst Du eine Fülle an Informationen zu diesem Thema.

Ich kann noch nicht viel erzählen, kommenden Montag haben wir erst den zweiten Abend.

Ich habe den gestrigen Abend bei der Familie meiner Tochter verbracht und "musste" natürlich mit Sekt auf meinen Geburtstag anstossen. Ich nehme den Ausrutscher gelassen, denn ich bin sicher, dass ich in nächster Zeit weder Sekt noch Wein für mich kaufen werde, um allein zu Hause zu trinken. Seit 20.9.14 bin ich baclofen-frei, bin aber auf der Hut und werde bei beginnendem Trinkwunsch sofort wieder damit anfangen.

Seit 29.9. nehme ich am Kurs MBRP (Mindfulness-Based-Relapse-Prevention) teil und habe die anderen Teilnehmer kennengelernt. Sehr viele haben ein Alkoholproblem! Und ganz traurige Schicksale gibt es, da sollte ich eigentlich zufrieden sein.

Ich berichte weiter.
